Birdie Folkers is a comedian, storyteller and occasional country singer. She is your boozy, acerbic, thrice-divorced auntie making a scene at dinner again. Host and creator of the queer variety show, "The Show & Tell Show" at the Chateau in South London, Birdie has recently appeared in venues such as the Roundhouse, the Cockpit Theatre and Wilderness Festival. Born in the Canadian Prairies on the back of a pick-up truck in the midst of a June blizzard, she now lives in London with her various neuroses and two unpublished novels, ages 2 and 3.
