About

60+ yr old looks younger. Journey Central Comedy Hour, hosted by Lainey McLean at the Meridian Bar on Leith Walk, was a featured free comedy showcase during the festival. Show Description: The show was designed as a "Late 'n' Leith" slot, featuring a mix of comedians including the No 1 Scottish Comedian, curated by McLean to discuss various topics, including relationships, daily life, and "garden gnomes". Context: The show was part of a larger 2008 portfolio of comedy managed by Lainey McLean, who also operated comedy clubs in London (Islington, Ladbroke Grove, and Covent Garden). The aim to provide a "safe environment" for comedy. Reviews: 3 Weeks - Edinburgh Fringe gave our show 4****, so in theory the MC Lainey earned 1*, although 'good at networking'. 'JCC is unique...nobody else is doing this on an open mic night.'
