About
One of half of critically acclaimed comedy duo That Pair and star of BBC Radio 4s Newjack and Sketchorama, presents this dynamic debut hour about coming to terms with being average.
How do you make peace with the fact that you may never do anything extraordinary? Under the guise of her delusional alter-ego, Ava Rage, she struggles to come to terms with being average in a world that rewards excellence. Aided by a loop pedal and vocal harmonies, Shaw weaves neurotic sound bites with contemporary melodies to create a layered depiction of a woman attempting the momentous out of the mundane, in this hour of music, stand up and clown.
