Gonzo Comedy Club June - Danger Special

Our Danger Special is exactly that. Like the greatest of theme park rides, it will seem that anything might happen, and it quite possibly will, but at the back of your mind you'll know that all the relevant health and safety checks have been carried out. Rest assured that the Gonzo team have hand picked the acts on tonights bill for a blend of weird, wonderful but above all very funny. We've concocted a special blend of some of our favourite left-field and original acts on the circuit. Red Redmond - Headline "The most energetic man in comedy (provided Lee Evans is now dead)" — Manchester Wire Liam Pickford - Opener 'A surrealist slant on the art of stand-up that is refreshingly original and full of justified applause breaks.'- BBC Jayne Edwards 'Her well-crafted comedic persona is a mix of clueless buffoon and delusional ego-maniac' The Incredible Niblo A trolley of magic that once seen is hard to forget. Stan Skinny "Stan Skinny is not like most poets - more fun, more heart, more crazy, more tall, he's forging his own unique more-brand of stand-up-and-lie-down poetry cabaret, absurd, honest, vulnerable, joyous. go and see him if you can…" Matt Black, Signposts Ian Seaburn - CompíƒÂ¨re A frustrated rock star with an unhealthy mathematics habit, delivers tales from the road and survival tips for life. £4 on the door (£3.50 for mailing list members) Buy advanced tickets online to guarantee entry and reserve a seat. £4 (no booking fee) https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/gonzo-comedy-club-danger-special-tickets-11678612043 For act details, see the Gonzo Comedy Club Website - http://www.gonzocomedyclub.com/
