Gonzo Comedy Club - May-hem

May's event will again be on a Friday. We have another great lineup for you. Jim Bayes - Headline Dave Rivers - Opener Nicola James Les Connelly Rivka Uttley Ian Seaburn - CompíƒÂ¨re Price: £3:50 - pay on the door ============================== Jim Bayes Jim has achieved a large amount in a short space of time with over 350 gigs in less than 2 years to his name. Cheeky, likeable and above all funny Jim has engaging stories and sharp well crafted lines that catch you by suprise and he keeps the laughs flowing throughout his set. Dave Rivers I've seen Dave several times over the last year, his tales of life on the underbelly of society are engaging and very funny. Nicola James Nicola was supposed to join us in March but was too ill to travel - we are delighted to have her on this bill. Nicola is a Sheffield based comedian who has quite rightly been described as 'sweetly cynical'. If you've ever wanted to understand the psychology behind people doing unreasonable things, wearing chintzy patterns or becoming serial killers she's a must see. Les Connelly A creative individual who journeys through comedy with his penchant for language. Exploring nuances and idiosyncrasies of the everyman - using a mix of colloquial slang and poetry to offer a unique comedic experience. It may be too early to tell, but quite possible a poetic genius Rivka Uttley We are proud to introduce the relatively new comedic voice of Rivka Uttley, who comes to us after studying under 'Silky' - and that's more than good enough for us!
