Funhouse Comedy Club - Comedy Night in Southwell October 2026

Funhouse Comedy Club brings another night full of laughter to The Final Whistle, Southwell on Thursday October 15th.

Topping the bill is winner of ITV's 'Show Me The Funny' the instantly loveable and unique Patrick Monahan, with his trademark hyperactive and freewheeling charm. Following the release of his debut DVD he was a guest on Loose Women and also appeared alongside Philip Schofield and Jason Manford on ITV's Comedy Annual. More recently he appeared on ITV's Splash. Of Irish-Iranian descent but brought up on Teeside he shares tales of his memories. He exudes warmth and charisma; his friendly style mixed with his hilarious story telling leaves everyone wanting for more.

Opening the night will be the hilarious Jonny Awsum, who appeared on ITV's Britain's Got Talent and cajoled Ant and Dec into joining his audition and has supported Jason Manford on his arena tour. Starting out as barman at The Chuckle Club for eight years he then decided to take to the stage. With his guitar and musical parodies he amuses his audiences charming them with his warm and friendly persona, his style of audience participation is second to none. He has presented for Sky Sports, been warm up act for Big Brother and Loose Women and also starred in several adverts including Cravendale, The Post Office, Experian and even Puntigamer beer in Austria.

Also appearing is Karen Bayley the first ever female winner of the prestigious Comedy Store King Gong award. With her shrewd wit and great timing she surprises the crowd with her inspired and sparkling punch-lines.

Compere for the night will be the cheery and chatty Spiky Mike.
